About EDO BLOOD
In 16th century Japan, you could hear the word katana; you could hear the word samurai; you may even hear the word Shinobi. But one word you would never hear is VAMPIRE.
In Kagoshima Province, Mitsui Hamada’s family has been devastated by Kenji Natsume and she has vowed not to rest until he lies defeated at her feet. The fact that they are both children is irrelevant. In her five-year-old mind, she is her family’s only hope. To this end, she spends the next ten years training, under her abusive father, to become the perfect weapon of revenge.
Just when she is beginning to feel prepared to face her enemy, she makes a horrifying discovery: her foe has not only become a deadly samurai warrior—he has become a vampire. Despairing of ever defeating such a monster, she is suddenly—and painfully—offered a solution. Now she has to decide whether to abandon the revenge to which she’s pledged her life, or abandon what little life her enemy has left her.
