As one of the most feared warlords in all of China, Sung’s power and influence are almost limitless.  A thirst for power is never slaked and, as a vampire, Sung's thirst is boundless.  Seeking to expand his already vast holdings, he takes over village after village until finally, one village fights back.  Their attempt to stop his murderous rampage almost cost Sung his life and he has vowed revenge.  Being a vampire, he can afford to bide his time, so he waits, stalking one of his enemies, Liu Shen, for years across China.  Having caught him, he decimates another village, just to torture him.  But, just when Sung is about to exact his final revenge, his enemy escapes again and flees to Japan.  When Sung finally tracks his quarry again, he finds him very well protected.  No matter.  He’s able to enlist the aid of a young martial arts student, Mitsui, and is finally ready.  But there are some things even a vampire cannot control and Sung will soon find that there are limits to even his power.
