All Liu Shen wanted to do was lead his village in peace, but in 16th century China, peace was an elusive thing.  When his village was massacred, he and his friends, Nakai and Soro, went to find revenge and ensure no others suffered the same fate.  They set out seeking justice, but were forced to battle something out of their worst nightmares.  Barely escaping with their lives, they tried to regain a normal existence.  But, for Liu Shen, his chance at a normal life was already gone.  Even when he thought he had found a second chance, happiness was ripped away from him once again.  Escaping his enemy once more, he has found sanctuary in a new land and lives a shadowed existence serving one of Japan’s most powerful lords.  But, even across the sea, peace eludes him as his enemy stalks him once again.
